"If major labels like Atlantic are going to start looking beyond the country market and start expanding their artists roster to include more diverse music, they could do no better than to consider Chris Burke.
Chris has vocals that could take the top prize on American Idol - easily. His music leans towards a funky, soul, R&B vibe with jazz thrown in for good measure. If I had to make a comparison, I'd say Babyface meets Nora Jones. A great combo that only truly talented vocalist like Chris can pull off effectively.
It's my belief that Chris could make a huge impact on pop/ac radio and literally sell millions of albums in the process. Major labels should be looking at Chris in a serious way.
He is set to release his debut cd on his own and is currently looking for management and a great publisher who can help him move up the ladder. Anyone who gets on board this early in his career will have won the lottery - it's rare that a talent like Chris comes often, much less out of Nashville."
